Equity progress metrics that actually matter

A useful dashboard doesn't just show progress—it shows what to do next and which levers move outcomes the most.

DashboardsMetricsUX

Most dashboards are summaries. Great dashboards are decision tools.

If a user is building toward a deposit, the dashboard should answer: (1) how am I doing, (2) what changed, (3) what should I do next, and (4) what happens if I do nothing?

Recommended core metrics

Equity credited to date, trajectory (last 30/90 days), and milestone completion.

Sensitivity: what +£25/+£50/month does to the estimated timeline.

Variance explanations: why a projection changed (market assumptions, fees, user contributions).
